It just hit me. We already have classes on Monday.

Summer, please stay a little longer. I am so not ready for the next school year. I’m not yet ready for Algeb, Geom, Bio, Chem, and Physics. I’m not yet ready to officially part ways with my friends. I’m not yet ready to face reality. :(

Hahahaha. Okay, hi there incoming sophomore! I am an incoming senior, and I’m not sure if my words have any credit, but I’d like to give you some advice anyway!

Sophomore year will be one of your better years in Pisay—but that depends on your class, and even then, it would depend on how you would react to them. A lot of people (at least, me, my brother, and my dad) say that the friends you make in second year will be your closest. So you should look forward to the bonds you’ll make with your new classmates! You won’t be “officially parting way” with your friends in first year. Not unless you totally cut them off. So chill.

And as for the subjects, I’d suggest that you manage your time well. That’s the trick to surviving second year, really. It’s heavy because of all the units, but believe me, it’s not as mentally challenging as third year and, I guess, fourth year. Don’t stress out too much and make sure to pace yourself. And if you need help, I’m sure your classmates and teachers are all willing to assist you. There are also your BBSCs, so don’t hesitate to approach anyone! It’s not bad to admit if you’re having trouble with subjects—especially since second year is confusing since topics overlap in chem, bio, and physics.

Lastly, hi! You probably don’t know me, but it says in your page that we go to the same Pisay campus together, so I’ll just say hi here because ~i’m too shy in real life~ lol actually no you will probably find me screaming in the hallways, but whatever. Good luck! And don’t be too scared of sophomore year. It’ll be great!

Karen, meet Jade. Jade, meet Karen. Taduh~!

I have to agree with everything Jade says so I don’t need to write another lengthy post about Sophomore Year. And I do not have my writing senses with me right now so all I can say is, “Enjoy!”. The best I can do for now is give you a link to PisayForever’s compiled tips, if ever you need more. Hehe, that’s it.

Anonymous asked: Mahirap ba ang geob/algeb sa second year? As in yung parang okay na yung 2.0 na grade or something like that...

Depends on how you look at it. Or kung sino makuha mong teacher.
Marami-rami naman ang mga estudyanteng nakakakuha ng 1.75 and above sa Math 2 and 3, so don’t worry! You might be one of the lucky ones!

Anonymous asked: What are the novels we have to read for our fourth year?

These were the novels we read in the Main Campus, SY 2011-2012: Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Le Morte d’ Arthur by someone-I-forgot, Don Quixote by Miguel Cervantes and Les Miserables by Victor Hugo :))

Anonymous asked: pano po nagiging godchild?

Please visit the Godparent’s Program page. But I suggest you apply for the Godparent’s Program only if you really, really need it, and not because you just want to have a higher stipend than your friends.

Ilang araw na lang

thenerdpride:

This is for incoming juniors.

Mas nosebleed nga naman ang third year kesa second year.

Pero syempre, hindi rin mawawala ang first JS prom natin. Oras na rin natin para magsuot ng magagandang gown at kagagalang-galang na suit and tie. :P

And of course, andyan pa din ang Acquaintance Party, science camp, YMSAT, Batch Day, Teacher’s Day, Foundation Day, Paskorus, Science Fair, Valentines Day, at marami pang iba. Baka maubusan na ako ng laway kung isa-isahin ko.

Dalawang taon na lang, graduate na tayo, sabi nga nila maximize your 3rd year grades kasi next year tayo naman ang susubok sa UPCAT. High school grades are 40% of your UPG. Lahat naman tayo gusto pumasa sa UPCATdiba? :)

Despite lahat ng yan, let’s not forget to enjoy our third year. Good luck sa atin! Lezz do this Batch 2k14!
